ENDORSEMENTS

I don't have any big names to throw around like some of the other candidates. Part of it is by design.

The first reason is that I didn't want to make promises and become beholden to any special interests or individuals. Scratch their back and they'll scratch mine, something like that.

The second reason is that it would take a lot of time and effort to do so. I don't have a staff to do my bidding or the time to pursue endorsements - some candidates get paid very well to do it.

The third reason is that, at the end of the day, the people make the final endorsement. A candidate can have all the bells and whistles, but that won't matter if the people are ready for a change. We all have a choice: the new person or the people that have been in politics all of their lives.

Endorsements? Who's got time for that?
